This is a most impressive turnaround in one year, and has to be very encouraging from a recruiting standpoint.

10 wins, half of which were on the road. A win over Arizona, and a WSU loss at UCLA, would mean the Beavers would finish the weekend in the top half of the table.
And if you're getting a bit itchy on what could be in store after conference play, the team had an RPI of 33 entering the weekend. Yeah, I'd say Coach Kagan is COY.

This is a most impressive turnaround in one year, and has to be very encouraging from a recruiting standpoint. Just from a 'next year' standpoint we look pretty good. The seniors we will lose are: Paula Leblic - Starting Defender who is #3 on the team in shots taken, #8 minutes played. 1 goal 2 asst. Ashleigh Fonsen - Starting defender. Played 809 minutes in 14 games. Scored 1 goal & 3 asst. Taylor Lemmond - Back-up forward. Played 357 minutes in 13 games. Scored 1 goal & 2 asst. Jaime McPherson - Back-up defender. Played 33 minutes in 3 games. Lindsay Lamont - Back-up GK who has played 15 minutes of 1 game this year So, 2 starting defenders and 1 forward who plays in most games are the major losses for the team. There are also only 2 Juniors on the roster. One starting MF and one back-up MF, so you'd have to think that expectations should be high for 2020 AND 2021 since at least 8 2019 starters will be eligible for the next 2 seasons. Here's the typical starting line-up: F: Weinert, SO F: McReynolds FR F: Salveter FR M: Fried JR M: Studer SO M: Schwartz FR M: Herrera FR D: Leblic SR D: Fonsen SR D: Ellsworth FR GK: Skiba SO Link to women's soccer stats
