28th out of 36 after 2k. Running in a tight group. Only four seconds apart. Only six seconds of the lead runner. Huge field - 247 runners.
25th at the 4k split. OSU's fifth runner (Van Calcar) has lost contact with the first four. OSU's first runner 50 seconds off the lead.

We came in as the 17th ranked team in the field (25th in the nation). Coach set a goal to finish 17th. Could see the team drop out of the top 25 next week.
Just noticed Mari Friedman did not finish in our top five. If she was having a good day that would have moved us up to around #25. Looks like four out of seven had an off day.
There was a 13 second gap between the top five scorers at the Dellinger meet a few weeks ago. And a 25 gap for runners 1-7. Today the gap was 30 seconds and 62 seconds.
