Coach Rueck noted yesterday that Beaver Nation has produced another record season ticket sales total for WBB. However, he didn't quantify that figure. Historically, there seems to be a reluctance by OSU SID sources from widely publicizing that figure each year. I would encourage OSU to announce those records via Twitter and other sources whenever a new record is achieved. Lots of support to be proud of....
Conversely, Graves proudly announced yesterday that Oregon WBB surpassed 7k in season ticket sales for '19-'20. Very exciting times for the two Oregon PAC-12 WBB squads.

The OSU Athletic Department seems to take a page from the book of Augusta National - information, no matter of how great interest it might be to the outside world or how positive a promotional aspect it might have, is to be kept in house as a closely guarded secret. If they were a political party, you wouldn't know the name of their candidate until you went to the polls on election day.
It's just plain stupid. Graves is getting the word out to recruits everywhere that Knight Arena is going to be packed with loud, supportive fans. That's smart. If you've got a horn, toot it. We've got a horn - but we keep it in a box, and we're not going to tell you where it is. That's dumb. Really dumb.
