The PAC-12 Network will air its annual Media Day for women's basketball next Monday, October 7 beginning at 10 am PT. Slocum and Pivec will join Coach Rueck on the broadcast. Last year, it was Slocum and McWilliams who represented the Beavs as the two players. It is always interesting to see which two players a program will bring to the event. Some pairs are predictable. Some will surprise. Oregon: Ionescu & Hebard? Arizona: McDonald & Reese? UCLA: Onyenwere & Dean? Other guesses? pac-12.com/videos/conferences-depth-set-shine-2019-pac-12-womens-basketball-media-day

A few of my guesses:
WSU: Molina and Hristova (I think Molina is the most underrated player in the Pac-12; love her game)
ASU: Robbi Ryan and Reili Richardson
Washington: Melgoza and Peterson
Stanford: Carrington and Williams
Cal: CJ West and Jaelyn Brown (or Alaysia Styles?)
Im interested to see who USC sends.

I see that at least for the women, they scheduled the best for last! Go Beavs!

Most of the player duos for Monday's PAC-12 Media Day are as were speculated above in this thread.
One notable exception is that Oregon senior Ruthy Hebard stays in Eugene as her talented junior teammate Satou Sabally gets the nod to travel to San Francisco with Ionescu and Graves. Ionescu and Sabally are potentially the next two #1 overall picks in the 2020 and 2021 WNBA Drafts, assuming Sabally remains in school for her senior year in order to play a season with her younger sister. Hebard, in her own right, is projected to be a first round draft pick in 2020. Onyenwere and Williams are likely first round WNBA picks when they enter the draft. McDonald will play in the WNBA one day. Carrington and Hristova are projected as second round WNBA picks in 2020.
As PAC-12 WBB fans, we get multiple chances to see our fair share of the top women's collegiate basketball talent in the country.
