That ENTIRE Nike / uo connection ( I know this is Nike Project ), and all of their camps, coaches, payments and past awards/ medals needs to be swept into the light. This is never going to see additional investigation or criminal trials, or even spread beyond this creep Salazar- but athletes, the public and their families and fans need to know that this is NOT okay. Phil will not allow this to further tarnish his legacy and all of the other duck programs - but, just as canzano and others were 'spun' into the denials and nike loyalist behavior, there are things going on at that school and everything connected with it, that need to be halted. The athletes themselves are good with the program, until they learn later in life - if they make it that far, what damage has been done to their bodies.See how they 'hushed' up the 'project' athletes that were trying to let the public know what was going on ? They were criminalized. You know what that takes is 'money' and a concerted effort to protect all that is wrong, That means a NIKE all out defense. I will be willing to BET, with real money, that every program at uo has, or is, currently using drugs and every other means to cheat at the athletes ultimate expense. This is what the Oregonian should focus on instead of running anti osu athlete investigations .. okay, do that too, but report facts not conjecture and hearsay. I also know that won't happen because those guys are uo hacks and couldn't investigate anything of real value !

Lance Armstrong, Salazar, Joe Paterno, Tiger Woods. Nike's finest.

Lance Armstrong, Salazar, Joe Paterno, Tiger Woods. Nike's finest. Don't forget Sackerpick. One of many reasons I will never buy (or my household) in the future anything with the swoosh on it. Oh, I didn't forget him. We'll just agree to disagree on that one. I don't hold anything against anyone for peacefully exercising their Constitutionally-guaranteed rights. You know, the very rights the soldiers/sailors/Marines solemnly swear to uphold when they join the military and pledge to defend the Constitution of the United States. Others gas mileage may vary.

CK knew his actions would have consequences, and they did. He has paid a price.
The NFL had every right to do whatever it wanted to, short-sighted (I think) as their actions might be. It has obviously blackballed him, to the detriment of some teams that could have used him. Politics aside, he's clearly better than some of the slapdick backups who have played in the last couple years.
PS: I try my hardest not to buy Nike products either.

While I agree that CK is probably better than some of the back-ups who have played the last couple of years, I assume teams believed he wasn't enough of an upgrade to offset the headaches he would bring along with him. I can't really say I'd call that "blackballing". I'd call it more of multiple teams coming to the same reasonable conclusion.
