I say not. Ohio St. sounds pretty arrogant. when they use the "The." Hate it. When I taught there, I was teaching ESL students rules for using articles (the, a/an), and one of the more reliable rules is with university names...except their Alma Mater. We just shook our heads. But the problem that I have these days is whether to include the “The” or not on my resumé. Technically it should be there, but I don’t want to seem pretentious. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I suppose having a small disclaimer on a resume might be a little much...
