Love that the four goals were scored by four different players. Wouldn't have thought the shot totals would be that close when looking at the score, but credit to the Beaver defense. And a big congratulations to Crespo for landing on the College Soccer News national team of the week.

Beavers fall 1-0, couldn't crack the GCU defense who posted their third clean sheet this season with 9 saves.
Beavers return back home Sunday against UC-Santa Barbara.

I caught most of the 2nd half. The Beavs controlled the run of play most of the half and had a bunch of opportunities. Better team lost IMO. Way too common in soccer.
GCU was scrappy. Tough to win on the road. Hope we can get back to winning Sunday.

Beavers fall 3-2 to UC-Santa Barbara, Gauchos looked to be the better team and showed it on the scoreboard.
OSU now 3-3-0 entering conference play Thursday (9/19) against UCLA.

Very entertaining, especially in the second half. UCSB is very good, and has been for some time. They invest a lot in soccer, as it's one of their two marquee programs, along with baseball.
Very poorly officiated game, IMHO.

I think the board would be better with a soccer board. I know a lot of people don’t follow it, but how many followed baseball until our first national championship?

When you win a National Championship, you get your own board. So, we're shutting down the wrestling board, and the football board, the men's basketball board, and the women's sports board? OTOH, I can't wait for a dedicated cross country board.

I think the board would be better with a soccer board. I know a lot of people don’t follow it, but how many followed baseball until our first national championship? How about a racquetball board? We’ve won a national championship in that. Or a rowing board? We’ve had recent Olympic gold and silver medalists in that sport.
