Oddly I predicted this last year. Sad to have been right.

Oddly I predicted this last year. Sad to have been right. The most un-elusive quarterback in NFL history meets his demise. Guy was a sack machine.

Andrew Luck Retirement Press Conference
Why do people describe this as “sad”? I think if a player can get his millions, get set for life and retire while he still has his health relatively uncompromised, more power to him. Lots of folks would love to be able to retire from their highly demanding jobs in their early 30’s (or late 20’s in his case).

I remember Luck's appearance at Reser. Either first or second play of game threw the ball in the air about 60 yards on the money to a WR 5 yards behind our DB and then said WR alligator armed it.

If you mean me, I say it because he’s a great NFL Qb and no one will get to see him play anymore. As a fan I’m not interested in what he does out of football, my only interest was in his football ability. No offense, but tuning in to see how Jacoby Brisset is doing doesn’t really trip my meter.

Not you spud. I was thinking more of this kind of reaction
