Yes, at least we can move along now: "Van Lith, one of the top recruits in the country, has narrowed her choice down to two schools. She will be announcing her commitment to either Baylor University (Waco, TX) or University of Louisville (Louisville, KY)." At least it is not a Pac-12 school.....one of the teams considers us their nemesis of late, the other has been our nemesis of late. Go Beavers! |

Baylor/Louisville....Lotsa culture shock awaiting HVL in both of those destinations....
I hope basketball goes swimmingly for her because if it doesn't she's will be headed elsewhere before she can say transfer portal.
Both coaches are love 'em or leave 'em type personalities. I can easily see HVL choosing to leave either program if things go south for her.
Baylor has had more good players transfer out of their program in the past 2 years than OSU has in the past decade - or two...
Louisville is an over-recruit-then-discard program....HVL could very well be a top player at either school, but if she isn't she'll be gone.

Officially down to Louisville and Baylor...so we’re done here! I don't think we (or at least most of us?) should be all that surprised she's not picking OSU. This gives more cred to the ESPN article. Best of luck to her. Time to look forward even more so to possible 2021 recruits, especially point guards and/or combo guards. A good 2021 freshman PG could have a boat load of playing time, what with both Slocum and Goodman surely gone after next season (2020-21). |

Because I like her style of play. Her bulldog attitude toward the game. Her total dedication to the moment. But now the only time I will probably see her is when she is playing the Beav's. And yes, I will BOOOOOO her.

16 players on their roster, 5 seniors. Should prove interesting. I suppose we ought to be concerned when they are on our schedule (tournament or some pre-season event).

Someone on the Boneyard said "I just looked at the class he (Louisville head coach Jeff Walz) recruited and the what’s returning. And Why in the h*** would she go to Louisville?" She and Walz must both already be convinced (and in agreement) that she is as good or better than at least 8 of the other 10, hence lots of immediate PT. |
