It's obviously slow sledding nowadays, so I thought I'd throw in some for-the-fun-of it material.... Listed below is the 2019 Washington All State Team....Lots of great talent....It's possible that the Beavs end up with 3 of them.
FIRST TEAM
Player of the Year Hailey Van Lith, G, Cashmere, 5-9, Jr. Among Van Lith’s accolades this year are the Gatorade Player of the Year award and a spot on the USA TODAY ALL-USA first team after she scored 34.4 points a game and added 8.3 rebounds.
Dalayah Daniels, F, Garfield (Seattle), 6-4, Jr. A defensive presence, Daniels blocked five shots per game while adding 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Jordyn Jenkins, F, Kentridge (Kent), 6-2, Jr. A Class 4A first-team selection, Jenkins averaged 21.5 points and 9.2 rebounds a game for Kentridge, which reached the 4A semifinals.
Brynna Maxwell, G, Gig Harbor, 6-0, Sr. The Utah recruit scored 26.7 points a game and also contributed 8.8 rebounds, three assists and 4.1 steals.
Talia Von Oelhoffen, G, Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco), 6-0, So. Von Oelhoffen filled up the stat sheet with averages of 30.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.6 steals per game. ----------------- GO BEAVS !!

For comparison purposes --the Oregon 2019 All State team.....It looks like the Beavs are recruiting none of them with possible exception of Vonleh....
COACH OF THE YEAR
Eric Knox, Benson Tech (Portland) Knox’s Lady Techsters pulled off a stunning upset of heavily favored Southridge in the Class 6A state final. Benson Tech knocked off the two-time defending champs with a resounding 66-42 thrashing to capture the state title.
FIRST TEAM
Player of the Year Cameron Brink, F/C, Southridge (Beaverton), 6-4, Jr. A two-time Gatorade Player of the Year, Brink averaged 21.3 points and 11.1 rebounds for the Skyhawks, who advanced to the Class 6A state final. The standout junior has verbally committed to play for Stanford in the fall of 2020.
Ciera Ellington, F/G, Benson Tech (Portland), 6-0, Sr. Ellington’s 20 points, eight assists and three steals led Benson Tech to a stunning victory over Southridge in the Class 6A state final.
Aaronette Vonleh, F, West Linn, 6-4, So. The sophomore standout propelled West Linn to the Class 6A quarterfinals, averaging 18.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
Kalani Hayes, G/F, Clackamas, 6-0, Sr. Clackamas overcame an 0-10 start to its season to finish the year 12-13, thanks to the efforts of Hayes, a First Team All-State performer.
Rose Gwillim, F, Baker (Baker City), 5-10, Sr. Gwillim earned First Team All-State honors after leading Baker to a 28-1 record and the Class 4A state title, scoring 11 points in the 51-48 championship-clincher over Marist. --------------- Aaronette Vonleh continues to be the mystery player. Nothing much seems to show up about her - at least that I can find....She nevertheless maintains a high national ranking, and even as a sophomore, earned 1st team all-state in Oregon..Obviously there is something to see here.....She can't remain low profile forever....So, we should hear a lot more about her this coming season...... GO BEAVS !!
