Notre Lame, Iowa and Iowa State.
Sour grapes on my part but after her recent international showing she may be way over rated.
She averaged 5.7 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. HVL is way better.
HVL is the last guard in that class worth pursuing.

Well -- we've never even had a player make a youth USA team (U15-19) if I recall correctly, but that will change soon, I hope. Of course Weisner was always starring on Canadian teams, but none of Brown, Jones, Goforth, etc. have ever made a team. Really hope we can land HVL though.

Weird. All three programs already have two brand new PG's signed up. Too bad for them I guess. Going to be great for the "family atmosphere".

Wherever Clark goes, one would hope she's happy with her choice. It's not going to be us; so be it. There are a bunch of highly ranked point guards in 2020, however, and one of them is going to notice that, (a), Oregon State has a need for a quality point guard in that class, (b), whoever fills that spot has a very good chance of being a 3 year starter, and, (c), there will be a very, very solid nucleus surrounding that point guard, which translates to great success on the court.
I remain firmly convinced, as I have been all along, that Hailey Van Lith will be the person who figures all that out and commits to Oregon State.

I just want 5 Mikayla Pivecs on the floor. Yeah but that would be 5 Swiss army knives on the floor at one time How could you ever travel. You can't send players as checked baggage

Glad to hear you are firmly convinced. Perhaps you can share some of the REASONS that cause you to be so firmly convinced that HVL will sign with OSU...I'm interested in learning about them. GO BEAVS !!

I do love the ‘optimistic’ side of speculating, But a notch or two above that view is sole insider information. I know that the latter is impossible and not expected, but ‘sometimes’ someone throws us a bone. HVL reminds me of Mikayla in many ways, but she does seem to be more of a shooter in the way she aggressively goes to the hoop. Yes, Mikayla does the same, just not as frequently. Really do not know where we stand, but am confident in Scott and staff that - if it is meant to be,it will get done. Go Beavs !

There were also multiple people who posted Clark would be taking an official visit this fall. Our true insider is beavershoopsfan!

I have no source of information that leads me to my conviction that Van Lith will sign with us, only my belief that it makes great sense for her to do so. Many seem to think she'll choose Baylor, but there are some very highly touted point guards in Texas who are also looking at them. What happens when one of them pulls the trigger and commits?
Anyway, if you look back several months, you'll see that I've been saying all year that we're going to get both Goforth and Van Lith, and I still think that.

I would honestly be very happy with a two person class of Van Lith and Goforth. Two consensus top-20 players who fill two of our biggest needs. Both will potentially play immediate minutes as freshmen (exactly how much will depend on Slocum and Tudor's futures). We don't really need any bigs in this class, though Daniels would be the cherry on top.

A two person class of Van Lith and Goforth would be amazing! Personally, I still think our chances of landing Van Lith are maybe somewhere in the area of 33%, but I also believe that our chances of landing either Van Lith or Verhulst (next season) are extremely good. I don't know who is the better player. Van Lith is amazing, but I think Verhulst may be a better fit for this program. Of course, there is nothing that says we can't land both. Although usually considered point guards, I've also seen both called combo guards, and we've seen that Slocum and Goodman can be a nice combo, so no reason Van Lith and Verhulst can't play together.
There are also some other 2020 point guards out there that may be in the picture as well. I'm curious if there is a relationship between the Beavs and Lily Scanlon, as the talk is that she has high major offers.

Further on point guards from Texas :
#7 Sarah Andrews lists Baylor as one of her schools, and her high school teammate, #9 Hannah Gusters, is a Baylor commit. Also, #19 Deja Kelly and # 41 Harmoni Turner are both from Texas. Neither show any schools listed, so who knows.
But if any one of them, especially Andrews, commits to Baylor, where does that leave Van Lith in the picture?
