I still feel like this team vastly underachieved this year! I can't believe this is mostly the same team that won the Pac-12 Tournament last year, with some good redshirt additions. I feel that they should have taken a big jump up this year, but it seemed like they regressed slightly to me! I really expected at least 3 AA's this year.
They looked tentative this year to me! Instead of establishing dominance and carrying over the momentum they had after last years Pac-12 tournament win, they let other wrestlers surpass them (very much mental in my opinion). I hope this changes next year in a big way. With the current Pac-12 landscape, I see a big jump in the level of competition in the Pac-12. We need to step up or we will no longer be the Lead Dog! Especially since we are already being outscored at the NCAA's where it really counts!
