Before we start looking forward with the Italy trip coming soon, a last look back for me (inspired in part by an exercise last night to delete recorded games on my DVR):
Most Memorable Game: Beating uo at Gill
Most Memorable Moment (not in a game): The blinking orange light sticks during player intros (at the Civil War game, as shown off on ESPN) - realizing the fan experience has grown significantly, and that we have become nationally prominent not only for the stellar on-court product, but for the fan engagement.
Runner up #1: The Kat Tudor "get well soon" mega-card presentation
Runner up #2: Ron Callen Polish National Anthem
Most Memorable Internet Moment: Kennedy Brown's commitment announcement - when she smacks the ball and her jersey/shirt goes from Derby to OSU, I was like "finally, one of these goes our way, and what a player for it to go our way with!"
(The runner up for me would be all the *great* social media work OSU WBB has been doing - the department/coaches/players have really been doing a fantastic job, and I really appreciate some of the really pretty pictures Coach Katie posts of Corvallis area sights.......)
Anyone want to offer up alternates, and help me remember some other special moments??
Go Beavers!

Agreed, Oregon @ Corvallis was the high point of the season. Followed up by tough wins over the LA schools. Unfortunately March was not memorable. 3-3 and the games they did win were ugly. Peaked a few weeks too soon.
It wasn't a team highlight, but notable for me was attending my first WBB game at Gill. The post-Christmas final tune up game against CSU-Bakersfield. I'd been to one men's game at Gill a LONG time ago (My memories are playing tricks on me; I thought for sure they beat the 94-95 National Champion UCLA team, but wiki doesn't agree w/ me. I know I saw them beat UCLA, and Brent Barry and Mustapha Hoff were on the team, but I guess it must've been the 92-93 season.)
Saw them up in Seattle like I have the past 5 or 6 years (except the years they haven't played at the Washington schools).

Trish's reject of Sabrina's floater, and in the same game, Jo's reject and mid-air grab of Boley's baseline jumper... Destiny's closing minute desperation 3 against USC... Aleah's 4 3s in the 1st quarter in LA against USC (better check that one, it's from memory). Close's face in the final minute of the UCLA game in LA when the realization dawned on her confused mind that the Bruins didn't have a freakin' chance to win that game...
Many more for sure..... GO BEAVS !!

A couple more... The victory over South Carolina..............yeah, South Carolina may not have been as good as usual, but a victory over a power school is always good. Kelly Graves look when Aleah kept hitting shots in the the home Civil War game. I may never forget that look!

Kinda lost in the passion of the season was that Katie Mac calmly sank 2 free throws in the final, closing seconds of the South Carolina game to secure the win. She was fouled scooping from the floor a desperate pass from hyper-pressured, off balanced Destiny. The whole sequence took place right in front of me...Definitely a great memory...
Somebody should put together a compilation of Katie's game-winning, or game-icing, free throws....she's had several of them. I don't remember her even once MISSING a clutch free in the closing minutes of any game.

Watching Missy Barlow and Michael Price retire from reffing (oh wait, maybe that was prophetic)!

I heard that her dad entered her in free throw contests from the time she was really young.

One thing you can definitely say about Katie, she was definitely Katie McClutch during her career. She had a lot of big shots, and big free throws at the end of games. I don't know if anyone can match her hitting clutch shots. Aleah's ability to make free throws certainly helps in that area.

Pivec hit a lot of clutch shots at end of games last year....at Arizona, at UW, Boise State, home against ASU. I'm sure there were more, but those alone makes me think Pivec was our clutch performer in the past season.

Katie was the most clutch in 17-18.

That game was an 86-39 beatdown and was over before halftime.
edit--oh, maybe the Pac 12 tourney game against UW...

While Mik is a clutch player she had a couple games where she had problems at the line. If I had my choice I'd rather see Katie or Aleah shooting free throws because of their consistency.
When Mik was on though she has that calm that a premier shooter needs.
