I'm not sure what 23' forwards the Beavs are still showing interest in. It seems that they really cooled on Olvia Anderson. They do seem to still be recruiting Annika Soltau. I've watched a little bit of her film and she would be a nice addition. There seems to be some competition for her, but signs point to the Beavs having a decent shot. I'll be curious to see if there are any others the Beavs are still chasing.
If they don't find anyone, hopefully they could add via the portal next summer.

Oliva Anderson, the last I checked was a 3*. Really cooled off from her original 4* ranking.

Harvard, Yale & Princeton: I'm impressed. Very impressed.
Having lived in Ellensburg for 5 years I can assure her that Harvard is a light year, and then some, from Ellensburg.
Whether the Beavs cooled on her, or vice-versa, I don't know, but she's offered by some good schools, she's bright, and she's almost "local." A lot to like about her....
I think there are several of us on this board who would be interested to hear from anyone who knows more about her and her game.....

I don't know if she was still a target, but I know I've seen Jenna Villa from Arlington, WA mentioned previously. She's off the board, just committed to Washington St.

Chloe Briggs committed to Washington. Her stock seems to have fallen quite a bit, but still a solid get for UW, which has now landed four players from the Team Taurasi AAU club and five from California.

Malia Samuels to USC, and Adria Lincoln to Montana. Two of the best from the state of Washington. Malia is a warrior on the court. She could be trouble for a lot of teams.

Langley has gotten a good toe hold in California so far, but the absolute inability to recruit local HS talent to UW continues. This has been going on for at least 20 years, thru probably 5 or 6 different coaches. It's just bizarre that nobody has been able to solve the problem. I think maybe McGuff could've, if he stayed for more than 5 minutes. |

Now Langley has added Sayvia Sellers, 5-7 PG from Alaska. Currently ranked #26 by HoopGurlz. She is loading up on guards, that makes 6 between '22 and '23 classes.

Thanks for staying on top of NW recruiting nwhoopfan......
I think Sellers is the player that several on this board thought would make a great addition to the Beaver roster.....
She fits the role of the dynamo point guard that the Beavs have been hoping to land for the past several years....

By all accounts the Beavs appear to still be very much in the running to land her commitment, but she is showing mutual interest with numerous programs including Washington, Michigan, North Carolina, Florida State, Vandy, BYU, and others. I'd love to see her choose the Beavs as she is a good player with size. Something they don't have yet in the 2023 class. It's a tough battle though with the schools that are chasing her.
