I’m not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the OSU coaching staff is now showing some interest in a 5’10 PG out of Barlow high school- Kennedie Shuler. She was 2nd team all-state this last year in 6A. Has anyone seen her play in person? She sounds pretty good in this article

For once I found SR in the crowd, usually the photo is too fuzzy or too small, here he is Calif somewhere, about 5th from the left, sitting, next to him is Kamie Ethridge and we won't mention the clown a few more down.

Someone wearing a large W behind SR. No idea, probably just a parent.

If you're a basketball fan, Chloe is a joy to watch. You can see why the Beavs have interest. It will be interesting to see if she can develop the left hand as well as she plays with the right hand.

She was 2nd team all-state this last year in 6A. Has anyone seen her play in person? I saw Kennedie Shuler of Barlow (class of 2023) at the 6A Girls tourney in March in a 52-36 win over a good Jesuit team. She did not look like a Div I player to me, although quite a hustler and decent defender, but I have been wrong before and she is only a junior. (I've been going to the state tourney for 40 years or so and have seen all the great ones: Cindy Brown, Lindsey Yamasaki, Laurie Milligan, Liz Brenner, Cameron Brink, etc.) She scored 11p (3-8FG, 1-3 on 3's, 4-6FT), 1 Reb, 2 Assists, 2 TOs and 1 block. Her season averages were more impressive: 17pts. /7 Reb/4.6Assists/3.7 steals. In 3 games in the tournament, she averaged 12 pts. on 31% FG, 38% on 3's (8-21), 6-10 FTs, and had 13 rebounds, 7 assists, and 13 TOs. Not Donovyn Hunter numbers. (Her team did beat Hunter's team by 2; Hunter had 24 and 11 rebs, while Shuler had 12 pts., 9 rebs and 4 assists). As mentioned above, she was 6A 2nd Team all-tourney and 2nd team all-state. Sorry for all the annoying stats. My 2 cents.

Kat was number 93; that worked out pretty good.

What happened to Olivia Anderson from Ellensburg, WA? I looked, can't find her on the linked Top 100 list. I thought she was fairly highly regarded. Weird.

Amanda Muse has committed to UCLA. Oregon State was in her top-6 and she took an unofficial visit mid-season.
I do think there’s some better posts in ‘24 such as Tac and possibly even Heiden.

I personally wasn't super high on Muse, but with her height, she may work out pretty well with all those guards and scorers UCLA is landing. This does make you wonder who the Beavs are still chasing. I really like Donovyn Hunter and think she will do well as a Beav, but after sitting on two good classes (2021 Talia and AJ, and 2022 Tamia, Raegan, Adlee, and Lily) you would really like to see the Beavs have a strong 23 class, especially since they don't seem to land game changers in the portal.

I'm not sure how much interest the Beavs are showing Malia, but she's having a great summer so far. I'm a fan of her tenaciousness (and her game)....and I like her stats in this tourney in comparison to Amari Whiting, whom I'm also a fan of.
