Isn't that Oklahoma State? Yes. My mistake on that comment....I knew that we had been re-branded to OS years ago....it just didn't register when I saw the orange&black OSU on her top 5 list....I think my brain is slowing down now that I've turned 70!

Posted this in the game thread, but I believe 6-2 wing Chloe Kitts, ranked #16 in the class of 2023, was at the first half of our game tonight.

Sofia Bell committed to Oregon, not a major surprise given her father played there.
Hopefully OSU can land Chloe Kitts.

Kitts is one of my favorite players in the 23 class. I have to believe landing a player from Florida would be a real uphill battle. That's about as far away as you can get and still be in the US. Kitts reminds me a lot of Sasha in length.

I updated the first page with the list of potential 2023 prospects -- which stands at four.
I added Annika Soltau, a 6-4 forward from Germany. There seems to be some mutual interest between Oregon State and Soltau. She's a long, slashing forward who is comfortable playing both on the perimeter and in the post. She doesn't shoot the three much though.
There seems to be some renewed interest in Donovyn Hunter who has been playing really well for South Medford this season. She was expected to be really good but some knee injuries held her back. She looks to be finding her stride.

Soltau has fantastic mobility on defense and is a really good driver. It would be a lot of fun to see how Rueck could help her develop.

There has been a noticeable increase in social media between Donovyn's Mom and Beaver coaches. Donovyn jumped off to a fast start this season and has looked really good by all accounts. I'd like to see her as at Oregon State.

I'm a big fan of Chole Kitts, but getting her to come all the way across the country to play at Oregon State is going to be quite the chore.

One interesting tidbit about 2023 recruiting. Jenny H and Laila Hull, Hoopgurlz 2023 #57, 6'1" Forward from Indiana, are following each other on social media. Jenny and Laila's Dad, Lee Hull, Howard Univeristy football Offensive Coordinator, are also following each other. If Lee Hull sounds familiar, he served as RB and WR coach under Mike Riley. I haven't checked this out yet, but I'm guessing Laila was born while Lee was at Oregon State. I believe he left in spring of 2008. As WR coach at Oregon State he coached a couple pretty good players, Mike Hass and Sammie Stroughter.
As an FYI, through 16 games this year, Laila is averaging 20.7 points and 10.1 rebounds, and has surpassed 1000pts in her career.

Agreed.....and she makes her point-blank shots in traffic under pressure with either hand!.....and despite not being a true post player she already has more instinctive back to the basket moves than any of our current post players.....she probably needs to develop an outside shot----4+ min. highlight video did not include a single shot attempt over 2 ft.----she drove to the basket every time she got the ball away from the basket.
