Not much going on here , so I thought I'd post this info about the UCLA rookie class that will be starting classes in September.
I find it helpful to scope out other teams and who they are bringing in...Helps with perspective. Helps to keep my expectations about our own recruits on an even keel. Reading about, and following, your own players only has a way of making me think they are greater than they are !!
At any rate, UCLA has some good ones coming in, including a lot of talent from Texas....

UCLA probably has the #2 incoming class in the Pac-12, behind Stanford and ahead of us. Both Kennedy and Taylor highly considered UCLA, so a good sign to see that we can out recruit them.
Their class is headlined by Jaden Owens, a 5-6 PG, and Charisma Osborne, a 5-9 CG, both top-25 recruits and McDonald’s All-Americans. Both very athletic and very talented. They also have a 5-11 guard from Texas and a 6-2 Canadian wing.
Owens and Osborne will definitely be one of the best up and coming back courts in the Pac-12, but I think our class vs. theres is a toss-up, and both fit each others respective needs well.

2021 Brooke Demetre, 6-2 W, Mater Dei HS (CA) committed to Stanford. Demetre is ranked #4 in the class of 2021 per espnW. Jealous of Tara's early commitments.

Beavs really seemed to like Brooke, and she is a great pickup for Stanford.
There are a lot of 2021 players the Beavs are looking at though, and I'm sure they will land a great class. I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I get the feeling the Beavs are really getting the recruiting process down and are targeting players that fit their culture and are also among the most sought after high school players across the country. It's possible the Beavs don't get Van Lith or Clark this year, but everything points to them getting closer to landing those type of players, and I would be very surprised if they didn't continue to land top 50 players.
Despite the fact that oregon, UCLA, and Stanford appear to be picking up their game, I think Scott is going to get his National Championship. I only hope I'm alive to experience it.

Washington, USC, and Cal were named finalists for top-50 6-2 PF Jordyn Jenkins (Kent, WA). Duke and Oklahoma were the other two schools. Went to HS with UW's 2019 commit Jaquaya Miller.

Next in line out of Seattle to provide a list is Delaylah (sp) Daniels....My guess is that UW is desperately trying for a two for one deal with Jordyn Jenkins & D.D. Would be great job insurance for Jody Wynn...She's got to nail Seattle's urban talent...She got a good start last year with J. Miller....
There is a lot (a LOT) of h.s. girl basketball talent in Washington headed to university in the next two years....If UW lands Jenkins and Daniels (as of now this is looking like a long shot) they will have made some very serious in-roads into this rich talent pool...
Personally, I'd like for OSU to land Daniels but I do not have a single clue if this is in the cards... If she has hands-on parents it seems like UW and OSU could both be in the running.. I wouldn't be surprised if Gonzaga is after her as well..... GO BEAVS !!

I'm in Seattle so I follow the Huskies. Of her other finalists, I don't particularly like most of those schools. Cal is OK. I hope she stays in the Pac 12 but I just don't like USC and their style of play.
