It seems to me like Jordyn Jenkins should be getting more publicity than she has. I don't have a clue about her recruiting, don't know who's looking at her or where she's leaning. Hopefully she stays out West somewhere. Her teammate JaQuaya Miller was fairly highly rated at one point, really slipped in the rankings, but I think Jenkins eclipsed her as they both developed. Of all the players listed, the only commits I'm aware of are Fiso to Michigan and Noble to UW.
edited--and Burton to Arizona St.

Jenkins has started to get more publicity, both espnW and Prospects nation have her as a top-45 player.

Jenkins was selected Washington State 2018-19 POY by Seattle Times.... She is well known, but, as of now, not widely pursued... That might change this upcoming year if her game takes another step forward....
I would assume that Jody Wynn at UW has her eyes set on Jenkins....Last year Wynn signed the state's #1 prospect (JaQuaya Miller) who was a teammate of Jenkins at Kentridge...Wynn has a reputation as a player's coach and she relates well. A woman with passion, charisma and basketball smarts.... If she can keep the best Washington kids in state she will have a power roster in no time....
If she lands Jenkins and Daniels this year she will be on her way..... GO BEAVS !!!

Keeping the best in state talent home is a good strategy if you can pull it off. Not an easy task though, as OSU fans are well aware. I'd be really surprised if Daniels ends up at UW (are they even on her list of schools?), but Jenkins would be a good get.

I hope Daniels goes elsewhere, not Udub.....The more I read about her the more I hope elsewhere is OSU.... GO BEAVS !!

Still 7 of the top 100 is impressive. I know these things are cyclical, but WA has been on an upswing recently. Talia Von Oelfhofffen from Richland (Tri Cities) is in ESPN's Top 10 for the '21 class at this point.
Of the 7 Prospects Nation lists...none committed to UW at this point. Like I said, they seem to have a problem keeping talent home.

That name rings a bell I didn't notice that until you said something, but looking at her profile, it certainly looks like it could be Sissel Pierce and Jason Heide's daughter. if both of her parents are former Beav basketball players, I would assume we would have an inside track if we were interested.

She is. She's been to numerous OSU games the last couple years. She's interested us, not sure if it's mutual but we certainly know about her and she knows the coaching staff.
