This is kinda "everything old is new again".... Many of us have been so focussed on the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes that we have lost track of the 2019 class that is soon arriving on campuses across the Pac... The enclosed clip rates the 2019 incoming classes...We've got some good ones coming in, as we all know, but so do other programs - - especially Stanford & UCLA.. asgrbasketball.com/stanford-leads-2019-pac-12-recruiting-class-rankings/

I always like this site because they include transfers, which are huge in figuring how good an incoming class is, but they also miss a lot of players coming in as well, especially international players. They left off both Mitrovic for OSU and Cochrane for the ducks. I'm guessing they may have missed some others as well.
You are correct though, Stanford has a monster class and UCLA's is pretty special as well. As we look down the road, it really looks like the Beavs, ducks, Stanford and UCLA are going to continue to battle for the Pac12 title. Arizona St always finds a way to stay in the top half of the conference, and I believe Arizona is going to make a move toward the top.
USC has a great recruiting class coming in, and I really like the center they recruited, but they seem to be a program in shambles. Utah appeared on the verge of making a move, but their class doesn't seem particularly strong. Cal looks to be hurting for a bit, and I don't hold out much hope for Washington or Washington St to make any big moves up in the next few years.
As we all know though, one recruiting class can really change things.

Note that the class ranking is from January, before Mitrovic signed. Hopefully they, and Prospects Nation, will do an update. I’m anxious to see how Mitrovic is rated and how much it affects the perception of how good our 2019 class is.

Interesting to see how everyone is recruiting more height in the paint (and even at guard)....would become even more obvious if/when Jelena gets listed for us. (Other than 36 EURO Charlotte Whittaker NZ 0'-6" C that Colorado is bringing in......ant woman? :-))
Go Beavers!

Usually I would be happy when the Pac-12 FOY leaves the conference, but I hate to see Dre’Una Edwards leave Utah. They had a really nice freshmen core, and they brought in Kemery Martín, who is going to be a stud. Loved what their coach had built there, and to see a freshman who was a big part of it leave is never fun.
Arizona is intriguing because they have Aarion McDonald and Cate Reese, who were very solid for them this season. Semaj Smith at 6’6” could be a difference maker for them. Very athletic big, but it will be interesting to see how Barnes develops her game. They also have quite a few new int’l players, so you never know there. Definitely on the upswing.
Cal is a program that seems to bw trending downward. They could have a rough season, losing a lot of talent and not bringing a whole lot of it in.

UW is a cautionary tale about how fast you can go from the top to the bottom. It still is unbelievable to me how that all transpired. Years of poor recruiting by Neighbors, a rash of injuries and players being forced to retire, and McDonald transferring to Arizona left Wynn with almost nothing to work with when she started.
There seemed to be no improvement from year 1 to year 2 under Coach Wynn until the Pac 12 Tourney, so that doesn't leave me very hopeful for year 3.
UW has been good off and on but seems to have become a stepping stone program for coaches and they have a hard time keeping local HS talent at home, throughout various different coaching tenures. I can't figure out why they can't establish stability and consistency there. Seems like it could be a...plum job (bit of an intentional pun there). Volleyball, softball and rowing are fantastic, it's not like it's a general problem with women's athletics there. I just don't know. I'm halfway convinced that Daugherty alienated the local HS/AAU coaches and UW has never recovered despite her being long gone. I've never heard/seen that confirmed, but it just feels to me like there is something up. (I follow OSU women's hoops enthusiastically, my parents both went there, but I have lived in Seattle for many years and follow the Huskies too)
I look for Arizona to make a decent jump this year. Bring back almost everybody from last year, that NIT Championship run had to be good for the program.
Cal is losing almost everything from last year's talented but underachieving team. Utah has some big losses from their Sr. class and Edwards transferring out hurts. They seemed on the verge of taking a big step up last year but tanked down the stretch and look to take several steps backward this year. USC has some talented recruits but lost almost all of their scoring. They were a dysfunctional team, maybe there will be some addition by subtraction, but they still appear to be in rebuilding mode to me. The top 5 from last year might not change, although the order could reshuffle, unless Arizona supplants one of them. After that hard to figure out who could move out of the cluster at the bottom.
