Thank God!
Also coaches can call time outs the last two minutes of any half or OT period, and the shot clock reset on an offensive rebound is only to 20 seconds instead of the full 30. Basically just like the NBA in shaving 10 seconds off, allowing more possessions.

For one, i doubt that pushing the 3 pt arc will do anything besides just causing more missed 3 pt shots and create a bigger No Fly Zone in front of it where coaches dont want players to try long 2 pointers. There is going to be a smart coach out there who develops a strategy to capitalize on the certainty of worse 3 pt shooting and a wider spray pattern for the caroms. And of course pac 12 teams will be the last to adjust.

I'm fine with more possessions. It worked well for the NBA this season.

I'm fine with more possessions. It worked well for the NBA this season. Grouchy old man !! The NBA has sacrificed the assist for the missed shot. The instant gratification is nice when the ball is in the air all the time but it turns the players into statues. Guys dont even block out any more. When the premium scorers are at their best its fun to watch but most of the time and especially during the regular season NBA is garbage until the last 3 minutes. Not sure how this will play out at the college level where the shooting is already much less skilled. Even more clanks and bricks and doinks and air balls. How is that an improvement?

Get those horrible shooters out of here and into the NBA where they'll be getting guaranteed contracts!
