We've got some chances for guys to get a little revenge for earlier losses this season...
125
Bresser vs unseeded Sean Russell of Edinboro. Obviously we need this one. Also in 125 #2 seed Joey Dance of VT was upset in the evening session last night.
133
Palmer gets #13 seed Kelly of Ohio. definitely a winnable match for us.
149
Delgado vs Geo Martinez of Boise State. Martinez beat Delgado 7-3 last month. If he wins, JD gets either Kraus (ASU) or Jeffries (Oklahoma). JD lost to both this season.
165
Seth Thomas vs #7 seed Perrotti of Rutgers. Perrotti beat Seth earlier this year in Corvallis and IIRC, was pretty much in control throughout. Looking forward to seeing how the rematch unfolds.
184
Griego vs #4 seed Abounader Michigan. Tough match up but CG should be wrestling with confidence right now. related- the #3 seed that CG knocked off last night (Avery/Edinboro) finished 3rd overall last year at 184 and defeated Meeks in the quarters.
Heavy Dhesi vs #2 seed Kyle Snyder of Ohio State. Snyder became the youngest freestyle world champion in US history last summer. He removed his olympic redshirt midway through the season and then cruised through the last 2 months of the season. Probably one of the most decorated college wrestlers out there right now. If AD wins this one, he'll be on the map nationwide, that's for sure! He'll also spoil the projected Snyder vs Nick Gwiazdowski finals matchup. Gwiazdowski is gunning for his 3rd national title. So let's through a wrench into the works...

Results
125:
Bresser wins via fall. Has a familiar face next in Lambert of Nebraska. He's beaten Lambert twice this season. If he wins, he gets a rematch vs Schram of Stanford. 2 matches he can and should win and he would find his way onto the podium.
133:
Palmer takes care of business, beats Kelly of Ohio 10-2. Awesome job. As a team, we've now won 9 straight matches after going 0-5 to start Friday.
149:
Delgado loses a very tough 5-4 decision to Martinez of Boise State and is eliminated.
165:
Seth loses a 14-6 decision to Perrotti of Rutgers. Looked to be similar to their first meeting. That finishes off the career of our lone senior from Roseburg. Was really hoping he could go out on the podium.
184: Griego loses 3-1 in OT to the #3 seed and is eliminated. Future is bright for this one...
HWY: Dhesi loses 15-5 to Snyder.
That leaves us RB, Palmer and Dhesi for the evening session... Team score - It's not good whatever it is. I don't really want to look.

Thanks for the updates. Snyder handling Dhesi like that is a surprise. Snyder v Gwiz is gonna be awesome.

Consoles Rounds 3:
125: Bresser beats Lambert of Nebraska 5-4. Now faces Schram of Stanford once again and a chance to redeem himself after their Pac-12 finals match.
133: Palmer drops a 5-4 decision to #12 seed Ryan Taylor of Wisconsin and is eliminated. Pretty decent tourney for Palmer.
Hwt: Tanner Hall of ASU wins and will face Dhesi for a 3rd time. Hall beat Dhesi at the Midlands (when Dhesi was in his "slump"). Dhesi then just destroyed Hall a month later down in Tempe. So we will see which Dhesi was have mentally... No reason he can't take 3rd.
So all in all, Bresser and Dhesi one win away from reaching AA. Not much different than what I would have predicted 3 months ago. Back then I was thinking those 2 were locks and then hoping either Crawford or Seth got hot and made a run...

When you wrestle that conservative against guys you have no business losing to, that will happen! He should have learned, since he did it 3 times with the same kid!
I still feel like this team vastly underachieved this year! I can't believe this is mostly the same team that won the Pac-12 Tournament last year, with some good redshirt additions. I feel that they should have taken a big jump up this year, but it seemed like they regressed slightly to me! I really expected at least 3 AA's this year.
