Much has been written here about Sasha Goforth, Caitlan Clark, and HVL. I'm curious as to who else the Beavs have shown serious interest. Who else might end up on the Beaver roster?
A name that crops up here and there is 6'3 (maybe 6'4) Dalayah Daniels out of Garfield High, Seattle. Someone on Boneyard claims she remains on UCONN's final list for 2020...The same site also claims that OSU and Stanford has shown interest in her.... She is generally recognized as the top prospect in Washington for 2020...but everything about her recruitment has been kept on the back burner - as near as I can tell...
Obviously Coach Rueck and staff have backup plans in case some of their top recruits sign elsewhere. No way are we going to NOT sign anyone in 2020...
So, I'm curious what some of you might know about this.....Obviously names sometimes come out of the blue. For example, how many of us knew much about Jelena Mitrovic before she "suddenly" signed on with the Beavs?
At any rate, I'm intrigued about who we might be recruiting in 2020 in addition to the top names were are so familiar with....Any help out there? Thanks...
GO BEAVS !!

I totally lost track of Dalayah Daniels. Heck yes she should be fully pursued. You are right she is lowed keyed out there but one of those players with huge potential

It is interesting because I feel like I could name quite a few more potential 2021 recruits than 2020. I really haven’t heard much outside out Daniels, Van Lith, Clark, and Goforth. Then again, I was totally unaware of the PG from Kansas until she committed to Iowa State and listed Oregon State as another offer.
One very intriguing international prospect is 6’4” SF Emily Bessoir. Katie Baker was the only college coach she followed on social media (last time I checked), and she is supposed to be extremely talented. I’m not sure if she has decided if she even wants to attend college in the US, but she is very talented. A two player class of Van Lith/Clark and Goforth would suit two very important needs.
Dalayah Daniels is really intriguing. She is really mobile and athletic for 6’4”, but I haven’t heard much about her except that we were in her top 5 at one point. I think she is someone who may be able to move out to the 3/4. If we added Daniels or Bessoir, that would be awesome.
As 4/5 players, we have Morris, Mitrovic, Aquino, Jones, and Brown, and Corosdale still has two years. Certainly a situation that may give a lot of 4/5 recruits a reason not to look at us. Still some question marks in that collection of players though.

A new 2020 has entered the radar and there are multi layers to this possible story. Kylee Lewandowski, a 6'0-1" guard/forward/wing at North Catholic High School in Pittsburg is now being followed on twitter by Katie F. Brian H has been following her for a little while. She's not being followed by most of the usual suspects on twitter (by this I mean those who report on AAU, camps, and girls high school ball), so there isn't a lot of info out there. She has a ton of offers from the smaller schools, but I'm not sure she has any power 5 offers. Her offers include schools like Fordham, Hartford, Richmond, Western Michigan, Fairfield, Niagara, Bucknell, Xavier, and more.
Are the Beavs interested in her? I really don't know. What I do know is that one person referred to her as "one of the Nation's top shooters". In a recent game she had 5 3's....in the first half. Here's some stats from a couple recent games....12 points, 15 rebounds, 6 blocks, 4 assist, 4 steals in one game, and 16 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assist, and 3 steals in another. She led her team to the 4a state championship this year. One other description of her that I saw said "High IQ versatile athlete, 6' 4" wingspan, Elite shooter (48% from 3), great passer/rebounder, plays passing lans, excellent shot blocker". Another positive for her is that her Dad Joe Lewandowski is a coach who has also been envolved in some national 3x3. Coach Joe and Brian H follow each other as does coach Joe and Destiny S. Coach Joe also follows Aleah, and Scott Rueck. I'm guessing that Coach Joe met Destiny and Aleah in their 3x3 action this summer, but that's just my guess.
The Beavs may have legit interest in watching her this summer to see how she develops, but they are almost definitely keeping an eye on 2023 prospect Dacia Lewandowski, who is quite the player. I haven't verified the relationship, but I'm guessing they are sisters.
There is video on youtube and hudl of Kylee, but I decided not to link it. I only watched a few seconds so I'm not sure how good she looks overall. I only know her stats are fairly impressive.

I've seen Kylee play. Very good shooter, and a very good stroke, along with good size to go with it. I'm not sure she is an OSU level player, just because neither her size nor her athleticism is elite. Kylee is not the best player on her HS team, as Tess Myers (#100 on PN) committed to Duquesne today. Dacia is her younger sister.
