All players in the original post made the most recent cut to 68 with the exception of the two 2023s and Wolfenbarger.

Payton, Lauren, and Timea all made the final 18, and are expected to make the final cut to 12! Payton is extremely talented and a very unique player. Very hopeful of the 4-5 combo of Timea and Lauren come 2022.

I wonder if Payton knows that basketball players named Payton generally come to Oregon State?

Katie F (and BH) have started following on twitter three other girls who made the U16 National team, Sonia Citron, Janiah Barker, and Saylor Poffenbarger. For 'name' reasons alone, it would be pretty exciting to have Jersey Wolfenbarger and Saylor Poffenbarger on the same team. Poffenbarger with the dime to Wolfenbarger...

Absolutely love both Verhulst's and Gardiner's games. Verhulst does all the little things well, and brings a little flash to her game, but nothing unnecessary. Gardiner is a skilled workhorse. I think those two had a combined 13 of the first 17 points. Gardiner was first off the bench while Verhulst started. Loving Betts' potential too. Would be scary what she could develop into at OSU, and wild that she is just a rising sophomore.
