Well, he seems excited.

I think it gives a little insight on Mitrovic’s injury, unless he just wasn’t saying anything. He expects all three to make an immediate impact.

In respect to what he said and didn't say about Mitrovic, it does bode on the side of her injury not being something like an ACL or MCL. But then again it does not totally rule it out either. It could well have been a number of other injuries as well.
I also noticed he mentioned Kennedy's fundamental feet. People always seem to undervalue the importance of a players ability to position their feet. It is a very important skill on both offense and defense. For a post player, it's major. This is also why foot speed is valued. because it is a major factor in determining up side.

Just one minor point to add to willtalk's comment... Proper footwork for post players is absolutely essential, and it usually takes at least one year to get it to the point where the coach is happy..... By stressing that her footwork is already advanced, Coach probably is indicating that Kennedy is closer to floor time than most incoming Bigs - maybe a lot closer. After all, someone's got to replace Katie Mac....
Patricia Morris has been going thru an entire year of footwork training, and Coach keeps saying she is a fast learner and has a high basketball IQ - so I presume that is a good sign for her as well. Coach has been lavish in his praise of KB for quite a while now, what that means is not clear because he is (to my way of thinking) overly effusive and upbeat about his recruits.....
I really have nothing earth shaking to say here, just throwing out a few minor comments....But, without much evidence, I'm beginning to think that Coach has big plans for KB, and that she will be a starter in her Frosh season... GO BEAVS !!

I'm no expert in critical thinking, but if she had a torn ACL or something equally debilitating, he would not say she will make an immediate impact, because she wouldn't be playing at all this season.

While you could be right, he also might act as though nothing has happened, given how soon it is after the injury and the good possibility that the full implications of her injury may not be known yet. Remember how he said nothing about Andrea's situation when she was barred from contact drills and then redshirted (which he said only was for further development... whereas Eggers said it was because of an "undisclosed health issue").

But if it were an ACL or an MCL you usually know soon enough that they will not play this season. There are various injuries that can happen that will not eliminate a player for the season. With an ACL or MCL you usually know in a couple of days. True the full implications of whatever type of injury she suffered might not be known, however, if it were either of the aforementioned injuries there would be no doubt in respect to this coming season.
