I can't find any updated information on AA's status. Is she now cleared for full practice? Can't wait to see her smooth athletic ability against other (biggs) in a real game.

With preparation for Italy either underway or close to it, someone should be able to let us know whether AA is in full practice mode, protected mode, or on the sidelines watching mode....
If she does not play on the Italy trip it will be a real bummer for optimism....
At any rate, I'm hoping someone close to Gill can provide an update in the next week or two....

If Aquino once again cannot play and neither can Mitrovic, it will be a huge opportunity for Jones and Brown to step right in and give big minutes.

IF AA has an issue that prevents her from being able to play, how many years do they carry her and essentially lose a scholly?? Seems that either she is able to play now/this year, or she may be gone?? I still have not heard any reliable information on what the issue really is?? Was so much looking forward to her game and what she MAY be able to contribute to the team...

Was so much looking forward to her game and what she MAY be able to contribute to the team... Because Rueck seems to always cap our roster at about 13, I doubt there would be any problem keeping her on scholarship and I think Rueck would be inclined to do so. With her potential, even a small chance that she would someday be able to play makes keeping her on scholarship justifiable. Of course, even if she never plays, it seems the right thing to do to give her the chance to earn a degree. |

Her redshirt season has been used. Unless she sustains a new injury between now and game one, she will play.

AA having used her redshirt year in no way speaks to what caused her to redshirt..
It has not even been established that she redshirted because of an injury.
There are numerous health reasons that justify a redshirt year that have nothing to do with injury.
You are obviously a dedicated OSU fan. That you continue to make assertions on topics about which you are essentially ignorant is getting tiresome.

I do not know if AA has officially earned a spot on the Paraguay National Team.
But, I do know that South American countries are typically more lenient in allowing basketball players to compete who are not allowed to compete (for health reasons) in NCAA programs.....
I hope someone here on the board confirms if she is (or isn't) on the Par. Nat. team.
