Women's college basketball: Top 12 seniors for 2019-20
“11. Mikayla Pivec, Oregon State, 5-10 guard 2018-19 stats: 15.2 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 3.4 APG She has steadily improved each year, and was the rock for the Beavers this past season, leading them in minutes played (34.3 per game). She shot 52.6 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from 3-point range, although she took just 60 shots from long range. She might do more of that next season.”

I don't see her shooting much more behind the arc - not that she can't, but she is best when she breaks for the hoop. She is strong enough to make the shots while being fouled, and she gets a lot of free throws.

Agree with you, but she will also have 6'6"/6'7"/6'9" behemoths with hands roaming the paint to take close-in shots......or (to your point) help clear paths to the hoop for her. But we are also talking about someone who won some sort of National 3pt shooting contest in her year for incoming collegians, so the thought she could wreak havoc from the arc more frequently than past years is not unfounded. Go Beavers!

Go Beavers! Yeah, she can hit that shot, but it almost seems like she is never happier than when she is getting another bruise Javelin throwers are a just a bit different.....

She's been one of my favorites ever since her Freshman year. Makes me happy to see Mik getting some national love.

I love Miks' style of play. I just wondered why Coach Rueck didn't put a 3 point team together? Consisting of Destiny, Aleah, Mik and one more player.
