A 6 ppg/5 rpg player isn't going to make waves by transferring across conference teams, but her comments might make a few:
"When we played them, I saw how strong they were," Tapley said. "Going on a visit, I got cleared to work out with them and being able to interact with the team and seeing their chemistry opened my eyes. It's just a different vibe and something positive for me I really needed from the last three years. I like their structure and how serious things were and, how coach Charli interacts with the team and how serious she took things she wanted to be done."
I think it gives a little insight into Trakh's chemistry problem - why the poor showing and recent defections.

LaVonda..anybody...LaVonda.. I get where you're going, BUT... No where close to the same. If you take a peek at the records, one has been extremely to very successful over a couple decades... HS to D1. Might be an arse, no idea. But, not LaVonda in terms of recruiting and coaching. Another topic for another time, but I find it interesting how player culture has changed the coaching culture. The "old school" types better have a winning culture built bigger than any player or this new type of player is tough to deal with. I think recruiting the best players that also fit a coaching style is more and more difficult.
