Junior Nerissa Eason is starting in the circle. Senior Meerha Nelson is either injured or in the dog house.

Pac12 needs more knowledgeable announcers. On the stolen base attempt they went on and on about the illegal pitch when the umpire is clearly signaling obstruction. Never did correct the call.

Sadly it was predictable they'd score more today since our 2,3 and 4 starters struggle.
Gladly Frosh Frankie goes yard and ties it at 7.
Other team has started same pitcher every game.

If I’m being honest I can’t stand listening Ann Schotz (sp?) under any circumstances, but is it just my bias that makes me think she’s flagrantly being a duck fan girl? It’s like she’s rooting for them and is critical of the Beavs even as they go for the sweep. She’s really disappointed when the Beavs shut down a rally but “the ducks aren’t goin quietly and you really have to love their grit and competitiveness blah blah blah.” Go Beavs - keep Ann depressed.

I also am not a huge Ann Schotz fan - but I don't think she's biased - she just always tries to bring more excitement to calls than is needed. Not every play is a big one.
Currently 12-8 for OSU in the 7th!

I got the same impression when I was watching the game on TV. She sure sounded like an Oregon cheerleader to me. What I heard wasn't balanced at all.

I watched the whole Game. They May not be great announcers but definitely gave both Teams props to make us keep watching. All You guys do is gripe. Be happy we beat a poor team that can't stay out of their own way. Both teams made many bad plays.

That ballpark may have a lot of bells and whistles but it plays like a T-ball field. As I've ranted about here before (sorry Billy), college softball players outgrew their fields about 10 years ago.

Funny observation. Some of the chicks look like they could hit a baseball out of Goss. There training table is definitely not weight watchers. More like the buffet line at a Waffle House. Not complaining cause they are fun to watch - just matching up with the outgrown comment. Basketball, if it keeps going UP, is going to have to move the basket up about two feet and bring the three point line to where they shoot free throws today.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I would like the bases moved back,as well as the fences. Way too close for my liking. It's like watching arena football versus regular football.
I too watched a bit of game three of the civil war series. Very sloppy defense by the uo. The errors in our big third inning were just common communication errors. The outfielder coming in always has the priority over an infielder going out. The centerfielder has priority over the other outfielders. Very basic stuff...

If you look at throws from right to third, third to first and catcher to second the bases are where they should be. I believe any farther would hurt a consistent throw. I like the idea of the fences being moved back with center being at 230. Also, someone mentioned on the board a while back, you know who you are so reveal yourself, of using a ball with a bit lower energy. The reason the field looks so tiny is because IT'S NOT BASEBALL AND NEVER WILL BE!
