Thank you for the tid bit. His brother is at Mizzou still? Is Russell the better of the two, or hard to say?

North Marion has always had a very strong wrestling program, except when I wrestled for them as a freshman before I moved.

I'd say Lane was probably the better of the two or at least he certainly had the better HS career. I believe he only lost one time in high school and that was in the state finals as a freshman. Then he went undefeated for the next 3 years.

This would actually make some sense - Stigall is now behind true freshman Brock Mauller (great wrestling name) - Mauller finished 6th in the NCAAs at 149 as a true freshman. Stigall did wrestle some at 157 but I think he's undersized there.. If that's the case, he would fit right in at 149 for us. Went 19-8 his RS FR season and then 13-5 this year. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info...I remember seeing Mauler in Pittsburgh. Kid did real well. His 'wrestling name' is only surpassed by Mat King. haha I'm all for the 10 best guys we can put out there. Then push for another top 10 finish, a few guys get hot, get a team trophy. Go Beavs!

Cannot imagine wrestling after a serious shoulder injury. I cringe just to think about all of the upper body moves being made when you are in the down position. Hips and Shoulders ( and ears ), take a real beating.
