Kennedy Brown makes Max Preps All American team (50 total players regardless of HS class), and so do a few others the Beavs are recruiting, but Hailey Van Lith does not make the 50. I'm sure that doesn't go over well with a few folks. Truth is though, it's not easy to distinguish between the 25th best, and the 50th best player in the country, and these services are far from perfect on these things. Thought it was interesting that Kennedy shot 39% from 3pt land. My question is, is she just a taller version of Taya (which isn't a bad thing to be), or will she develop a strong inside game as well? www.maxpreps.com/news/sDnP0j7nv02Pv7vuM6FDAQ/maxpreps-2018-19-high-school-girls-basketball-all-american-team-.htm

From what little I've seen Kennedy loves blocking shots, she played the low post on defense. She is aggressive and has just a bit of meanness. The way she talks about defense reminds me of Gabby, you have to really want to mess with someone to play high level defense.
On offense she is able to stretch the defense deep. While she may want to play the 3 and maybe, but probably not, be better facing the basket, she just may end up at the 5 next season. That is where the minutes will be.
Of course this is all conjecture. She does have a lot of potential and she and Taylor could very well become the Beavers version of Cox and Brown in a few years. It sounds like they already have some chemistry.
