Someone posted TT starting 5 ratings... and they made it this far... how far away is OSU really? How far away from what? You're not comparing * ratings of players in a program in the NC game to one that can't make the tourney?? Maybe look deeper than the players. Perfect example of a long time assistant with a great pedigree that was basically a "nobody" when hired. You know the kind of guy who just wanted a big time D1 job and a chance to prove himself. And, not the only one out there. But, of course we also don't pay $3 mil plus to attract talent. Oh... back to the question... very far from that level.

Tariq Owens is a graduate transfer from St. John's. Jarrett Culver graduated out of a high school in Lubbock. He has been called the best player out of Lubbock since Craig Ehlo. Davide Moretti is from Italy. I cannot find a ranking for Moretti anywhere. He was playing professional basketball in Italy prior to opting to play college ball in Lubbock. He was supposed to be the best player in all of Serie A2. He toured four schools and chose Texas Tech over Connecticut, Indiana, and Utah. Norense Odiase is one of the only Tubby Smith leftovers. Most sites had him as a three-star coming out of high school. Matt Mooney is a graduate transfer from South Dakota.
All we need to do is pair one of the leftovers from last year with two graduate transfers, a generational player out of Corvallis, and the best international point guard. Developing talent is for suckers and schools on budgets.

First ask yourself does OSU have a shot at making the tourney?
