3 hits and 3 errors definitely not a formula for winning.
We are really struggling to score runs in conference play.
Frosh Franke Hammoude hit her ninth hr and soph Mariah Mazon scattered 6 hits and had two earned runs.
With bases loaded and one out in top of 2nd the defense pulled off a 1-2-3 dp which was impressive.
Also, Stanford has dwelled at the bottom of the league for a bit but they are 27-6 now so not exactly a gimme.
If we don't lose any of our core players I think the team will be better next season. Mazon will be a Junior so hopefully Berg can bring in quality D1 pitcher to compliment her.
