With 3 incoming freshmen and the fact that last 3 offers that I've been able to find publicly have been to JC players, I wonder it WT will go the grad transfer route to fill out the last spot for some class balance. With virtually no recruiting chatter around the Beavs and having some time to kill at work today, I thought I'd take a look at the list of grad transfers to see if any make sense for the Beavers. Way too many to research all, so I limited myself to those transferring from schools in the Plain States or west. I have no idea if Beavers have reached out to any of these guys -- or if they even plan to go the grad transfer route. Only came up with 4, though Beavs last grad transfer didn't fit my search parameters, so who knows where they might be looking.
Brandon Boyd (6-0, 180) -- Idaho St. Leading scorer on the team this year with 14.2 ppg (and 14.9 ppg last year), who also averaged 3.6 apg. Not much of a shooter (41% and 29.2% from 3), though he did shoot better last year (46.8% and 33.%) when team had more balance. Grew up in Los Angeles. Supposedly Gonzaga, Xavier, TCU and Boston College have shown interest.
Anthony Bonner (6-2, 170) -- Colorado St. SG averaged 11.2 ppg this year, shooting 51.3% overall and 41% from 3.
Deng Geu (6-8, 215) -- North Dakota St. Wasn't a starter for the Bisons, but he averaged 18.3 mpg, 9.6 ppg, and 4.9 rpg. Quick highlights I saw of him showed he is pretty athletic and a leaper, though not sure how well rounded his game is.
Max Hazzard (5-10, 170) -- UC-Irvine Maybe he'd like to get revenge on the Ducks by playing them at least twice next year. Then again, he might have seen enough of them after going 1 for 8 from 3-pt against them in tourney. He did hit 5 of 11 against Kansas St. thought.
