Why was Bol Bol allowed to sit on the bench with the team? Didn’t he withdrawal from school when he was injured.

No relaxing. No matter what, I would be rooting for OSU’s Land Grant brethren. Now, my handle might hint at my 2 favorites, but I find you cannot go wrong pulling for the Land Grant schools established under the original Morrill Act. With few exceptions (arguably Auburn, Ohio State and Kentucky), the Land Grant institutional emphasis on research and education blend athletics into the institutional culture the right way. The difference in academic vs athletics focus is especially pronounced comparing Land Grants to public non-Land-grant schools among the Power 5 conferences.
Go Boilers!

Purdue-Tennessee, that one looked like the best offensive game in the tournament. Oregon-Virginia followed and we got the best defensive game. Since basketball is more about scoring a lot than football or baseball are, I'll take the side of offense and go with Purdue to advance to the Final Four.
Now that I wrote that, watch Virginia's D choke the living stew out of the Boilermakers...LOL!

My two favorite teams are the Beavers and Whoever is playing tsdtr (notre dame and u$c gives me stomach cramps). But, i just talk smack against anyone who wins their conference tourney and makes the Sweet 16 from where they finished the season. Helluva run.

I am hoping that the Boilermakers can make it to Minneapolis. I am also rooting for Gonzaga, because they are the last team West of the Pecos. Hopefully, Gonzaga-Purdue is the final. That would be an entertaining one.

This thread is one of the reasons why osu ad is a complete failure. The satisfaction of the fan is based on how the ducks do. Forget about trying to get better as a program, as long as ducks never win a championship we are relaxing.

Forget about trying to get better as a program, as long as ducks never win a championship we are relaxing. How does my hating a cheating program hurt our program? My satisfaction as an OSU alum and sports fan is based on the continued prosperity of OSU as an institution of higher learning and the success of our student-athletes. My disdain for everything uo and desire to see them fail has zero effect on our AD. To think that Beaver fan satisfaction is based on how uo does is utter nonsense.

Why was Bol Bol allowed to sit on the bench with the team? Didn’t he withdrawal from school when he was injured. Bol Bol is still enrolled in school. He has not played since the foot injury, but he has been attending classes. Just announced today that he has signed with an agent and will await the NBA draft.

As Beaver nation, the AD/marketing/vision and the fan base are on the same page. Forget about how we can shake things up to make our teams stronger, better, nationally competitive, a strong national brand, as long as the ducks lose at some point we can relax and we feel like it's as good as winning a national title ourselves. Maybe this observation or vision is more clear once some of you actually step foot outside the state of Oregon. Personally I just love everything OSU so much, it has way more potential than just being petty brothers to another team.
