Man, they really do seem to be cursed when it comes to bigs. Walton, Bowie, Oden and now Nurkic. Feel bad for the guy and legitimately enjoyed watching this team more than any other in the past few seasons.. Too bad.

I was watching it live last night. Oooof. Feel terrible for him. He's a powerful player. He had an awesome thunder dunk last week against the Mavs that was a thing of beauty. Hope he recovers fully.

Had a clear view of the foot in the wrong position all the way up in Sec. 328. Felt like the season just ended in that moment.

This really sucks: I pray that this young man can make a full recovery - not sure if he will be able to play basketball again, but he I think he has a great post-court future, just wish he didn't have to face the possibility so soon. Go Blazers!

Go Blazers! There is no nerve damage, so he should be able to play at some point. To what level is the question. Like Gordon Hayward who is definitely not the same player.

Paul George may be stronger after the same injury. Talus is stronger than bone and with rods in place the physical will not be the issue. But, mentally he'll have to overcome the memory.
