Sleep walk D....The game straddles the thin line between joke and embarrassment.... Better headline: "Prospect hits 3 in pre-game warmups."
OK, I'm done.....Carry on......

She’s lacking quickness, but it’s ridiculous to question her effort.

These McD opposing players seemed to be headed the to the other end of the court, not playing D. At least OSU and SR got a mention out of it, though I don't know who is viewing the game..... Go Beavers!

Where can I find her stats from today’s game?

Kennedy looks more comfortable being outside the key (on offense). She blocked two shots, made a 3-pointer. I did see her make quick and good passes when she received the ball which bodes well for her at OSU. By the time she gets to her sophomore year, Kennedy will have an inside game.

I only got to see about the last 12-15 minutes. All I can say is (maybe it's intended to be this way), what a rag-tag ridiculous one on one mess. NO GAME PLAN ON OFFENSE OR DEFENSE...

She’s lacking quickness, but it’s ridiculous to question her effort. Effort is Jo's stock in trade. She plays with total intensity and 'moderate' (being kind) skills. She can't jump, has semi-bad hands, and can't pass (7 assists in 2 seasons). But she engages ALL that she has, at all times. It's been quite a journey for the program transitioning through a season without talent such as Ruth or Marie (or both!) in the middle. Soon, Jo will have finished her basketball career (well...hopefully still in Poland in some regard) and the Beavers will move on to see what AA and K. Brown can bring to the middle. I think it'll be GOOD.

I think it'll be GOOD. I actually think we will see Jelena Mitrovic, Patricia Morris and Taylor Jones in the middle. AA and K Brown will likely face up more and supplement Taya Corosdale and take over KTMac's minutes..... While you are right that Jo's hands may not be superb, some of our entry passes aren't either (and sometimes we even pass up making entry passes - perhaps because we can't zip them into Jo, perhaps because we need to work more on the arc or art of high pass). As soon as next season, however, I don't think we will be able to blame the hands of the recipient of the pass as glibly as we do now. Go Beavers!

No argument about Jo's effort, but, like Roberto Duran, she has hands of stone.

Her minutes were higher than I expected, which is a good sign. This game was a lot more for those who can create their shot. I think Kennedy is the type of player who will do well in Rueck’s system, and that obviously isn’t a skill showcased tonight. Seems she might prefer the 3 ball, but I would like her to be an equal inside outside threat if need be. Obviously minutes will be easier to come by at the 5 than the 4 next season.
