I may be wrong about this, but I could swear for the *first* time today, I saw AA taking part in the warm up scrimmage where you are out there D-ing up 5 on 5. Anyone else notice that today?
Go Beavers!

I did notice that she was more involved in warm ups but couldn't place why, that explains it.
I did notice, again, that she is the head cheer leader on the bench. At times it looks like she is doing squats as she bounces off her seat. I hope that bodes well for the future of her relationship with the Beavers for the next four years.

Go Beavers! I've been to almost all of the home wbb games and AA has warmed up with the team at most if not all of them (I don't remember one that she didn't once I figured out who she is). She even sheds her warm ups during the game.

Which leads to this question: Would the Redshirt year be burned if she were to play in a game this year? Or is it like for football where you can play in 3 or 4 games with no effect on your Redshirt?
I'm sure this has been asked before but I don't recall the answer so my apologies ahead of time.

The basketball redshirt rules didn't change. The new rule applies only to football, and is intended to replace the medical redshirt (so teams aren't "playing up" injuries to qualify). There is still a medical hardship rule in football, but it should be limited to the truly hard-luck cases (like a certain Beaver QB).
