The weather sucked this weekend as well. Big series with ASU (13-3) next week.

This one will give Casey some ulcers. Situational hitting and situational defense are the basis for a Casey team, and both areas get an F today. On the other hand, San Francisco did well in both areas.
Eckert actually pitched very well, though he was a culprit in a couple of the defensive lapses. It is a safe assumption that there will be some work on that this week even though it is a constant point of emphasis already.

I disagree that it was a "bad" loss. Losing any non-conference game is unexpected, but you know what? It happens. I doubt if this will affect their standing in the polls. You are allowed to lose one game per week, just don't lose two. Sometimes you get the horns when you play with the bull. The 2006 team also lost to the Don's, and it didn't seem to hurt them any. I'm already over it, looking forward to the ASU series. They are always tough, but I must admit that I miss Murphy. He was a colorful character.

Yup. We weren't gonna go 57-1 or whatever. Baseball is a game of averages. Us not scoring means we will probably put it on ASU this weekend. This offense is too good not to score. Also, we were on a 10 game winning streak while the Dons were on a 7 game losing streak. It's gotta switch at sometime....lol.
If nothing else, remember we aren't even at full strength yet.
