I've noticed on twitter a number of HS players getting visits from coaches this week. This is officially a "contact period" for basketball recruiting. I don't have any news to share, but it would be interesting to know which, if any, players may be getting visits from the Beaver staff.

Not sure how much we should be discussing names of players...but I do know that Iowa and central Washington are defiantly destinations for coaches! Could also include Minnesota.

Among home visits reported, there have been none thus far. Even our recruits have had very few (Dalayah Daniels and Hailey Van Lith each had one with Louisville’s Jeff Walz). None for Bueckers, Clark, Goforth, Ware, etc. have been reported.

The contact period lasts from March 1 - April 4. As far as the rest of the season goes - the first and second rounds are March 22-25, the sweet 16 and elite 8 are March 29-April 1 and the final four and championship are April 5-7. Obviously a trip to Seattle or Cashmere, WA is much easier than one to Fayetteville, AR, Des Moines, IA, or Hopkins, MN. I’m sure that, as always, there are a few other names we don’t know about, and potentially a few overseas candidates, but as with Jelena, we may not know about them until very late. So far, pretty much all of our recruits are in extremely high demand, so we will be facing very stiff competition for their services. I have not heard of the staff making any trips out during the season except for Caitlin Clark. For some reason with OSU WBB it doesn’t seem to get heavily publicized. We may never hear a peep about Scott and co. in Cashmere, WA to watch Van Lith, but we hear all about the Baylor staff and an Oregon assistant in attendance. Perhaps beavershoopsfan has some additional info on any recruits or in-home visits. They typically have some inside info the rest of us don’t.

Kim Mulkey visits the Van Lith household, walks in the front door.
Mrs. Van Lith says, "Just throw your jacket anywhere, Kim."

Around the Pac-12: Oregon has paid home visits to Angela Dugalic,Deja Kelly, Nika Muhl (Croatia), and will be making one to Sydney Parrish. Cal has made one to Fatou Samb and will make one to Angela Dugalic. UCLA will be making visits to Angela Dugalic and Sydney Parrish. Stanford has made one to Natalija Marshall.

I did pick up in the GT that our coaches were out recruiting as well..... "The Beavers had some down time this week with the coaches taking some time away for recruiting." Go Beavers!

I really do think it is just most of the prospects we are recruiting have not been actively sharing or posting in regards to home visits. Nothing from Ware, Daniels, Goforth, Clark, Van Lith, or Bueckers at all yet.

One confirmed home visit was for Sasha Goforth. I really, really hope we can get her. Would be a perfect fit for this program.
