I would be happy, but shocked if we made it that far. I'm pretty worried about a potential match up with Colorado at the start. I think we need to beat Colorado if we want an NIT bid. We will also need to hope that there are not a lot of upsets over the small conference regular season winners within their tournaments. Since, those regular season winners are guaranteed at least an NIT berth.

Since, those regular season winners are guaranteed at least an NIT berth. It totally depends on how seriously the committee takes the NET ranking and metrics-based rankings like Ken Pom. Both love Oregon State. If this were last year, I would 100% agree with you. Oregon State's RPI is dreadful, 104th. However, the Beavers' NET Ranking is 84th and Ken Pom has them at 81st. You would have to see at least 12 bid-stealers for Oregon State to be left off with a NET Ranking that high. Also, I should point out that the Beavers rank 65th from the bottom in "Luck" in Ken Pom's rankings. The metrics tend to show that Oregon State is a much better team than the wins and losses would otherwise indicate
