Good grief, horror at Gill tonight. Fans shocked on how we even lose that game. NO effort at all to even try to box out at the end was miserable.

Sadly, I agree,,,,ASU is way tougher than Arizona. I guess maybe they ride the momentum of seniors last game and all that, but win or lose, this game tonight won't go away....what an awful disappointment.

So...do we accept the CBI bid that we're going to get?

It’s ON Tinkle for not teach how to box out. He can teach and scream all he wants but at some point the so called Veterans need to just do it. Don’t think the guys on the court are exactly blameless...

I don't think we're quite CBI material yet....NIT still likely...assuming we can beat ASU and WSU......but damn, there was soooo much more to play for and I just have this nagging feeling about the following losses: Stanford at home, UCLA on road, and tonight.....ugh. It's tough to be a Beaver fan.

This team has the hardest time putting two good games together. A good effort has usually been followed by what we saw tonight. If it goes according to plan, ASU is going down on Saturday.

It’s ON Tinkle for not teach how to box out. I don't know which is worse, not getting position and blocking out on a rebound or not having the ability to set, hold and roll off of a screen. The most lackadaisical effort I've seen from a Division 1 team. Hell, my grandson is 9 years old and he and his teammates set better picks than what I've seen from Tinkle's guys. It's been this way since Coach WT has been here. That's something that's teachable. MB.

Anyone else experiencing some cognitive dissonance watching the Duck game, acknowledging that it's actually good for us to have the Ducks win? I can't come right out and root for them, so I turned the channel to the Cal-UW game. But ASU getting blown out in Eugene isn't the worst thing....

This just magnifies the opportunity blown tonight by the Beavs Story of the season. Opportunity to have a really good non conference record (best in the conference at least) and lose at "home" to a poor A&M team and lose at home to Kent. Opportunity to claim 2nd alone and build tons of momentum after a road sweep and get blown out at home against Stanford. The loss tonight which could have put us above ASU again, air balling back to back possessions against UCLA in a game we probably should've won, the list goes on. This team does have an OK record, and yes it's the best conference record since 1990, but in my mind this year is just a year of what could have been. Down conference and we should've been a clear #2 that makes the dance with a 20-7 or 19-8 record at worst right now. Theres too much talent on this squad to not be better than this.

WT talked after the USC game about it being a 'character' win. Unfortunately, it cuts both ways. When you get schooled on effort-type stats (rebounding), particularly for a team playing for less that you are at this point, that's a character-revealing game as well.

LOL! Now UW just gives Cal it's first conference win.
We're a DII conference at this point.
