I'm curious to see what happens after this season. Their league is absolutely hanging by a thread right now with Highline and North Idaho threatening to drop down to club level. NICC's AD and wrestling coach had a falling out and he was fired back in December. If those 2 pull out, that leaves CCC, SWOCC and Umpqua. 3 team league isn't going to work... That also leaves the states of Washington and Idaho with nothing but club programs. Highline's AD is claiming that the cost of the NJCAA membership for wrestling was too much - apparently Rhoden, Adam Whitlach at SWOCC and Kyle Temple at Umpqua all even offered to pool together their own funds to help out but were given a "thanks but no thanks" - which tells you how little the administration values wrestling. not good.

By the way -Clack took all 10 to JC Nationals this weekend. 9 have clinched AA and 4 are in the finals tonight. I believe Abner Romero’s little brother is their 157 (took 2nd I believe). Update: CCC wins the team title and breaks the scoring record. 2 Champs. Pretty impressive job once again by Rhoden.
