Some much needed help on the way in the middleweights...
Ein Carlos out of North Salem and Abner Romero out of Fresno.
Carlos just won his 3rd state title last weekend (5A-170) great in-state get IMO... Pretty fun to watch, high energy, aggressive.
Romero wrestled for powerhouse Buchanan HS in Clovis CA then a year at Old Dominion in 2016-2017 where he went 29-10 wrestling at 165/174. He wrestled for Fresno City College this year and won the California Juco state championship in December at 174.

Two good guys methinks....Abner takes over 174, then Doyle bumps to 184? Or if Abner can be the 184? That would solidify 2 weights there. Ein, from my HS, take RS, wait for Doyle to graduate then make your debut.

If we get a nice off season leap from Olmos then we're looking pretty solid through the middle. Potentially a pretty nice group. Robbie Garcia, our other known signee is currently undefeated and seeded #3 @ 145 for the NJ state championships this weekend.

I do not see Carlos qualifying. I sincerely hope he does but my sources say he is not even close.

Our NJ recruit Robbie Garcia won state @ 152. NJ is a tough wrestling state. Lots of studs. He beat #2 seed and top 20 ranked guy in the finals by a large margin.
