Long game. Kinda boring. I don't know why Thompson was lifted after just 60 pitches. He'd only given up 3 hits. Hope he isn't hurt. Can't wait for PAC-12 season to start.

Also, Duckies got smacked by Mississippi State again today. I am always so torn when they lose. I want the PAC-12 to look great, but I always want the slug eaters to go down.

Sucks have given up 9 runs & 10 runs. Nice pitching. I do like the idea of going out and playing a "good" team in their place. Maybe not right before league opener though
Pac 12 starts next week. ASU first up

Thompson got lifted because they wanted to get Heimlich some work. Casey may want Heimlich to be the Saturday guy. Need a Lefty starter.

When was the last time they tarped the mound three times in a game? I thought the home plate ump was a wuss for stopping the game so many times. Judging from the boos and cat calls, I wasn't the only one who thought that way. It rained three times, at a rate of about 0.1" per hour. That's not exactly a downpour. Come on, it's spring in western Oregon. It rains, let them play ball.
Good to see Hickey get out and toss some pitches late in the game. Can't make Engelbrekt do all the work as the closer.
I'll take a "boring" shutout any day of the week.

Hey Dave. Any rumors on Martinek? Casey had a quick comment on him in the pre game. But no follow up. And no appearance yet. Do you know if he's getting side work in?
If he can help it may lengthen our bullpen. Will be interesting to see if the P's are ready to go next Friday
