This was mentioned a bit on twitter today, but I wanted to bring it to the board. If the Beavs can sweep this weekend, and win the Pac-12 tourney, are they the 2 seed in Portland? If not what else would it take? Interested in hearing opinions.
I think it would get it done, especially if it's a win over UO in the final. If someone else knocks them out of the tournament, then it get's a bit more dicey IMO.

Yes, I think so. First we have to win both games in the desert and our first game in Vegas. Then a victory over Stanford *probably* puts us on the 2-line. And a victory in the finals *probably* vaults us past the Ducks for the coveted high-2 seed and a likely PDX regional.

But anything can happen in a basketball game. But first things first. Beat Arizona State.

For us to get the number 2 seed in Portland, Oregon needs to lose in the PAC 12 tournament, preferably to us in the final game. Assuming they win on the road this week, they're going to be a 2 seed somewhere. If the PAC 12 should warrant a pair of 2 seeds, the other one would be us if we win out. Or it could be Stanford if they win out. If Oregon wins the conference tournament, they're the sole 2 seed. If Stanford or OSU wins it, they'll also be a 2 seed. Whoever wins the conference tournament plays in Portland.
That's my take on it.
