After wins over the schmucks, toejams, and baby blue bears we should get back to the top ten.
How far do the schmucks fall after losses to the BEAVS and ucla?

I think the Beavs will be number 8 and leap frog NC state, Iowa, Marquette, and Maryland. The first 3 all had losses, although NC State's loss was to Notre Dame. Maryland won a game that they were gifted to by the Gods. They never led against Minnesota except for the final score. Last week the Beavs only played one game and that was a loss to the Ducks. They were overly punished IMO by AP voters who dropped OSU 3 places to number 12. This week the Beavs were 3-0.
I think the Schumcks will be number 6 and Stanford 7. This week Oregon goes 1-2 and lost to an unranked, although very good, UCLA and lost to the 12th ranked Beavs. If they don't drop 4 spots, the voters are brain dead.

Ducks 6th, Stanford 7th, Beavs 10 (although I believe they should be ranked 8 or 9)

So close, newduke2! UCLA made it in at #25, even though they have 11 losses. The next closest in losses is 8, and that is Arizona St. The Pac is getting some respect this year, with Oregon State being the highest rated 5 loss team.

Good point...Pac-12 definitely getting some luv from the voters despite the greater number of losses. OSU getting some recognition with Goodman's "award" as ESPN POTW. Hope the gals can keep it up this weekend and sweep the AZ schools on the road. Would be nice if ASU or AZ would upset Oregon (if the Beavs win both) so OSU could be regular season co-champs.

Got it , Thanks...... I think UO men definitely have a problem that showed in their last game, There was one series after they had been beaten down in the 4th quarter, where P.P. started taking the ball end line to end line for several plays in a row. Did not look for or do anything to work a play with his teammates. This actually hurt them because, as they were dropping three's , he was going for layups. I saw the same type of thing with the UO women (although not as bad), where they became one pass from SI and a shot ( assist ), or a straight up shot by SI ( points ), and then her circling around under the boards , for a rebound (whoa - does that make it a triple double? Imagine that ! ). But , they do seem to go with the hot hand and if uncouth ruth is available, they do try to get her a six inch layup. In both cases - their defense seems to either not be there , or they tire too easily, because they seem to suffer late in games. That fact alone, will kill the women in the tourney - unless they get match ups that can't get up and down the floor like they can.

Looks like the Pac-12 has eaten themselves out of a #1 seed. OSU may still have a shot at a #2 seed, which would be really great, while generally pretty safe from falling to a #4 seed.

The Pac is getting some respect this year, with Oregon State being the highest rated 5 loss team. Not only that but Stanford is the highest ranked 4 loss team, ASU is the highest ranked 8 loss team and ucla is the highest ranked 11 loss team. The schmucks are the second highest ranked 3 loss team (Notre Dame is highest). An oddity is the fact that Furd is the ONLY team with 4 losses in the entire Top 25.
