This trio of potential beaver recruits will be playing together at the 2019 USA Basketball U18 3x3 National Championship. Obviously we all know about ‘20 Sasha Goforth, but ‘21 Payton Verhulst and ‘21 Greta Kampschroeder should both be on everyone’s radars. Both are followed by coaches on social media, and the staff has been out to Kansas to evaluate Verhulst. Both are already highly ranked in the class of 2021 and both are 6’0” guard/wings and would be great fits in the program. Hopefully we got off to a good start recruiting this trio with Goforth. Go Beavers!

In their first game, the “Blue Star 30 Stars” took down “Cyfair” (which had multiple top recruits out of Texas and Oklahoma) 21-19.

Those girls finished 4-1 today which was second in their pool. Tomorrow is single elimination day. There are some really good teams/players in this tourney, including Beuckers and Van Lith.

They lost to Team Denver with the Stanford trio of Brink, Belibi, and Van Grytenbeek, but they beat the team with Rickea Jackson and some other really good guards. 3x3 is all about matchups. Willing to be they had a little trouble containing Belibi and Brink. Goforth and Verhulst both got high praise from multiple outlets. Would love to see those two out on the perimeter in the future!
