Let’s hope we can avoid a repetition of the embarrassing drama that accompanied last years game at Gill.
Gill security please be on your toes. We don’t need any idiots tarnishing OSU’s great reputation. Zero tolerance for disrespecting our guests.

In general, OSU WBB fans are pretty respectful and even lightly applaud for the opposing team during the introductions, although this is getting hard to do with the rapid-fire version of introductions these days for the opposing team. Some opposing players have made comments on how great it is to play in Gill. However, I have personally seen a few loud disrespectful idiots in orange.
As has been pointed out, USC took care of Cal last weekend and lost to Stanford by only two points. USC appears to be on the rise. They are athletic. I wonder how we will match up this time and if our improving post play will have major impact?

I’m expecting 2 VERY tough games this weekend against teams that are more than capable of taking OSU down. We’ll need to play our best.

Statistically, USC shines in only 2 areas, and one of them is somewhat dubious. They are first in conference at getting to the free throw line - but 11th in free throw percentage. They are also first in steals per game.
Other than that, they tend to be in the bottom third in most other areas. They don't shoot particularly well from either 2 point or 3 point range, and they are lackluster rebounders. I don't see them winning this game.
By the way, they average 611 per game in home attendance. Assuming they've played 14 at home like us (I didn't check that), their total home attendance thus far this year is about 750 short of the 9,301 we had on Monday, and they won't get to 9,301 until their 16th and final home game.
Fight on, indeed.

USC should not win this game, but you have to give them a little bit of credit. They have beaten Utah, CAl, and UCLA this year, and they played Stanford tough twice dropping 72-64 and 69-67. If the Beavs are not hung over from the big win on Monday, this is there game. If they take USC lightly, they may get slapped in the face and find themselves in a fight to the end.
Great comment on the attendance at USC! I tried to watch the January Oregon State at UCLA game again a couple nights ago, (after watching the Civil War), and the crowd was so light, and quiet, I could barely watch the game. Try watching a packed house game, and then watch an empty stadium game. The Civil war (game and atmosphere) is definitely going to get the attention of recruits.
