I was skimming the media guide last night and comparing to current player stats. I knew that Mikayla was a rebounding machine for a guard, but I didn’t realize how good:
• Mikayla Pivec Rebounds/Game 2018-19 season (so far): 8.9 (231 total)
• Ruth Hamblin Rebounds/Game Sophomore Year: 8.5 (299 total)
• Ruth Hamblin Rebounds/Game Junior Year: 8.6 (276 total)
• Ruth Hamblin Rebounds/Game Senior Year: 10.0 (370 total)

The media guide also shows “top 10 records” for various stats (rebounds, points, assists, etc.) with different groupings (career, single season, pac-12 season, freshmen records, sophomore records, etc.). There are a few top 10 lists that current players have already hit or seem likely to hit this year. Assuming at least 6 more games this year (4 regular season + 1 Pac12+1 NCAA), and hopefully more like 10+ games:
Sophomore Assist top 10
o Destiny Slocum (127 so far), right now is at 6th place if season ended today. 180 is record for Sophomore. Averaging 4.9/game
Junior Rebound top 10
o Mikayla Pivec (231 so far), right now is at 6th place if season ended today. 325 is record for Junior. Averaging 8.9/game
Sophomore Rebound top 10
o Taya Corosdale (187 so far), right now is not in top 10, but 10th place is 202. 299 is record for Sophomore. Averaging 7.2/game
Sophomore Points top 10
o Destiny Slocum (444 so far), right now is at 4th place if season ended today. 584 is record for Sophomore. Averaging 17.1/game
Sophomore 3pts made top 10
o Aleah Goodman (59 so far), right now is at 5th place if season ended today. 92 is record for Sophomore. Averaging 2.3/game
o Destiny Slocum (58 so far), right now is at 6th place if season ended today. 92 is record for Sophomore. Averaging 2.2/game
Overall Single Season 3pts made top 10
o Aleah Goodman (59 so far), right now is not in top 10, but 10th place is 66. First place is 112. Both 1st place and 10th place on that list are held by Syd. Averaging 2.3/game
Overall Single Season 3pt % made top 10 – needs at least 1 made per game average.
o Kat Tudor (.465), right now is in 1st place. Because she has 40 for the season, I presume she is above the 1/game threshold, even if OSU wins Pac-12 tourney and National Championship and has 39-game season.
o Aleah Goodman (.447), right now is in 4th place if season ended today. 10th place is .420
o Mikayla Pivec (.455), right now only has 20 made, so is below the 1/game threshold. Otherwise, she’d be right in front of Aleah.
