I’ll be back next year 👊 Pretty much what the broadcasters were saying for the men's civil war game on Saturday night. When Gill is packed and rocking, it's a great place for hoops and a great home court advantage. |

It looks absolutely awesome in the pics I see. Must make the experience even that much better. |

I would also add the lighting is a big improvement. I am wondering if they are going to re-hang any of the banners (not the CBI ones please) |

I have no doubt I'm late to this party of a different look for Gil. That being said, I noticed that on TV the area outside the court seems much darker.

It is and it makes it so much more comfortable to watch the games. Before, a baseball hat was required to shade the eyes from the glare, now it isn't. |

It would be hard to replace Gill, the national historic designation makes it hard to even make external changes. But I love seeing games in that building, and wouldn't trade it for state of the art - besides, it's paid for! |

Last night at Gill, I was transported back to the 1980-81 OSU Men's basketball season. Students camping out for a week to get into Gill, and the mad rush when the doors opened to claim a seat in the OSU vs UCLA game. Man those were the best days in Gill. But last night was magical. Gill was rockin, and there is no doubt we have the best fans in the universe. The band is also awesome when they get the chance to play the OSU Fight Song, and EVERYBODY is standing and joining in. I'm sure Kara Lawson could not have felt this before she was in Gill. It is truly an awesome place to watch, and participate, in the game. Rueck knows this, as he himself had been in Gill before he took the job, and I love that every post game interview, the 1st words from Scott Rueck's mouth are thanks to BEAVERNATION. He knows how much BEAVERNATION impacts the opponent, and, his own team. GO BEAVS!
